北京师范大学教授，博士生导师，国家杰出青年基金获得者。现任中国细胞生物学会理事、北京细胞生物学会理事、中国生物物理学会理事兼科学普及与教育工作委员会主任、教育部生物科学类专业教学指导委员会委员、细胞增殖及调控生物学教育部重点实验室主任、法国细胞生物学会旗舰期刊Biology of the Cell副主编、《中国细胞生物学学报》编委。主要利用模式生物秀丽线虫从事生殖发育调控的分子机制研究，曾获得中国科学院、国家基金委及科技部等部门多个项目支持。作为第一或者通讯作者在Science, PNAS, Developmental Cell, Development, Science Bulletin等期刊上发表研究论文。曾获AAAS/Science: Excellence in Science Award (2004)、中科院“百人计划”择优资助（2008年）、Biochemical Journal Young Investigator Award (2009) 等奖项，并于2015年入选中国科学院“生物大分子卓越中心”。
