2003.9-2007.7，在北京交通大学，获生物医学工程学士学位；2007.9-2012.7，在中国科学院动物研究所，获生态学博士学位；2012.7-2017.12，在中国科学院动物研究所工作，期间于2016.3-2017.3，前往美国北卡罗莱纳大学教堂山分校访学；2018.1至今在北京师范大学任教。主持国家自然科学基金青年项目1项和面上项目2项。

      关注动物行为学、进化生物学以及理论生物学等研究方向。近年主要以相关的模式昆虫和鸟类物种作为研究对象，结合行为学实验和生物数学模型的分析方法，探讨动物行为的演化机制及其与种群动态之间的交互影响。研究内容包括：雄性选择的演化及其普遍性；动物个性特征演化及其在种群动态调节中的作用；动物行为与物种形成、动物保护的关系等。
